A Thriller, Fiction book. An interesting read. Very realistic. Some good characters and a good plot.
Als Maria zwanger blijkt van haar derde kind, besluit ze het voortijdig te laten weghalen en de relatie met de vader te verbreken. Vlak daarna wordt ze met de dood bedreigd, kennelijk vanwege haar levensstijl en de gepleegde abortus: het is het begin van een zenuwslopend kat-en-muis-spel, waarbij Maria er alles aan doet om zichzelf en vooral haar kinderen in veiligheid te brengen. An interesting read. Very realistic. Some good characters and a good plot. Maria Vos is a young woman with a lot on her plate. She's a vocalist in a cover band that plays parties, clubs, whatever gigs the group can get. She's a mother of two small children, the oldest only eight years old. She's just left her son's father Geert after realizing that his depression is another weight she can't bear to carry.... This was a very predictable story once you got past the early chapters -- in fact you can see the end coming from miles away. Getting there is a chore given the main character's superficial and selfish outlook, insecurities, and weak will. The rest of the characters were generally shallow and insipid as well.I guess this sort of mindless...
