Etalon al romanului dostoievskian, Crima si pedeapsa nu are nevoie de vreo recomandare speciala din partea criticului, el se recomanda singur ca o capodopera a literaturii ruse si universale, receptata ca atare pretutindeni, alaturi de Don Quijote, Hamlet, Faust, Rosu si Negru, Razboi si pace, Madame Bovary. Mai putem crede, azi, macar atat cat a crezut si Dostoievski?
