This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers. To view it, click here. I love Cassiopeia Vitt. She's smart and awesome and kick-butt and completely amazing, but really? I know it's supposed to be a short story, but twenty pages is short even for this. And even though it was only one or two dollars as a Nook book, it was so... It's a short story, but a little too short for my taste. Then I discovered it was a "pre-quel" to the book I'm reading now "The Emperor's Tomb" which, of course, has the short story included after the end of the sequel. Confused? Yeah, so was I. I've just begun enjoying this author's books, and the last one, "Jefferson's Key" was so... Hard to review a short story, but I would highly recommend for reading this before starting the Emperor's Tomb. This was my first "ebook" I have two more to read, all irrelevant as I have already read their corresponding novels.
