The sense of what you are about to read, I think, starts from the cover. It seems harmless enough; it's only a girl who collects butterflies, after all. But then the 666 jumps out, and I recall another book I've read about someone who collected butterflies... This book is very beautiful and intriguing. At first glance, the title seems to be rather innocent -- just as Marissa, the main character who collects the butterflies. She is just a shy fourteen-year-old girl wearing a red bow in her hair and sometimes around her waist.The book is full of powerful symbols that evoke strange associations....
