I read the 1972 edition, which apparently is the unedited version. My current understanding is that later versions were "modified" to be more theologically correct. Wurmbrand's stated goal for the book is to expose his weakness in prison, thus he left the poor doctrinal sections in there to allow the reader to see the torture his mind...
