The Adventures of Ulysses My favorite quote from the book is O Father Zeus. This is a book about ancient greece. It tells of the adventures and misadventures of Ulysses and his small fleet of ships. After taking the City of Troy, Ulysses is going back home. But on his voyage, he lands on islands where he looses or gains something. My... One word: IT WAS AMAZING!!!... Wait... (Counting on fingers)... That's 3 words. Nevermind. I loved this book. But then again, I am a mythology geek. And because of that, not a lot of other people are. This book was descriptive, short, sweet, and the characters had life-like emotions. Ulysses was sometimes a jerk, and he was very confident... I read this for a Latin class, and liked it a lot more than "The Trojan War." It was very interesting, but it definitely helped that I really love Greek Mythology; I would only recommend it to people who like it as well.
